Eilish joined the Adult Brain Injury Team at Bolt Burdon Kemp in April 2020 and works closely with the solicitors on her team to provide clients with compensation and help them recover from their injuries. Before taking up her position as a paralegal in the team, she learnt about the firm’s wider work in her position as a support clerk, where she worked closely with all departments and gained valuable insight into the work carried out across the firm. This exposure only confirmed her desire to work with clients who had sustained life changing brain injuries.
Eilish assists Hokman Wong and Heather Petrie in cases involving adults who have suffered a brain injury. She aspires to build a career working with people who have suffered brain injuries whether through personal injury or medical negligence. Eilish believes her friendly and caring nature will be an advantage in supporting clients and their families through difficult and stressful times.
After graduating from University, Eilish spent time working as a teacher in the United Arab Emirates and Vietnam. Throughout her time in university and working as a teacher, Eilish worked with charities to help provide education for disadvantaged children. She currently works with GoodGym, a charity that combats loneliness in older people in London. Eilish is very much looking forward to supporting brain injury charities such as Headway and The Silverlining, whom the rest of the team work with closely.
Eilish achieved a 2:1 honours degree in Corporate Law international from the University of Galway Ireland which included a year abroad in France studying political studies. She plans on qualifying as a Legal Executive with CILEx Law School.
