Elise joined Bolt Burdon Kemp in November 2019 as a paralegal, working alongside solicitors in her team to provide compensation as a result of child abuse. Elise completed the Graduate Diploma in Law in 2020 at University of Law (Moorgate) and the Legal Professional Course in 2021, in which she obtained a distinction with an overall average of 83%. She re-joined Bolt Burdon Kemp in 2021, following her studies, and continues to assist solicitors in bringing claims on behalf of survivors of abuse. She has worked on cases against a wide variety of Defendants such as the Jehovah’s Witness Church and the Scout Association. Elise has also worked on claims made to the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority (CICA).
Elise studied French and English law and has a degree in Criminology. She volunteered in a Crown Court, providing legal and emotional support to witnesses of serious crimes. She is passionate about supporting the survivors of sexual violence. She always ensures to provide the highest standard of service to clients and keeps a high degree of professionalism.
She is a member of the Bolt Burdon Kemp’s LGBT+ network – BBGay+ and has a strong interest in the fight against sexual violence within the LGBT+ community.
